cherry, cherries

Hey Healthy, Sexy, Vegan (or Vegan to be),

Sometimes, the occasion calls for something a bit out of the ordinary. Something a bit special, a bit sweet, and a bit indulgent.

Those can be the hardest times to stick to our weight loss goals, but I’m here to show you that you can eat for the body you want—even when it comes to dessert.

This decadent cherry cheesecake recipe is actually full of healthy calories, and free of added sugars, processed foods, animal products, or oils. So it’s sure to satisfy all your cravings, and help you achieve the slim, sexy body of your dreams…all at the same time!

Why would you ever eat a regular old dessert again?

Raw, Body-Shaping Cherry Cheesecake

Simple, Slimming Ingredients:

Crust

  • 2 cups dried mulberries
  • 2 cups dried figs
  • 1 1/2 cups pitted dates

Cashew Mylk

  • 4 cups cashews, soaked in coconut water

“Cheesecake” Filling

  • 7 frozen ripe bananas
  • 2 cups cashew mylk
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 vanilla bean

Cherry Glaze

  • 3 pounds (1 1/3 kilograms) pitted cherries (fresh is best here, not frozen or pre pitted).
  • 1 pound (1/2 kilogram) pitted dates

Step-by-Step Directions:

1. The Crust. Place all crust ingredients into your food processor and process until crumbly. Press crust evenly into your pie pan.

2. The Cashew Mylk. Use your juicer to turn your soaked cashews into a creamy mylk. Set aside.

3. The “Cheesecake” Filling. Add all filling ingredients to your high-speed blender and blend until it becomes thick and smooth. Pour into a mixing bowl and place in the freezer.

4. The Cherry Glaze. Blend cherry glaze ingredients on high until completely mixed.

5. Remove cheesecake filling from freezer and swirl in cherry glaze with a spatula. Don’t over-mix, or you won’t have a beautiful swirl of red and white!

6. Add filling to your pie pan.

7. Top your cherry cheesecake with fresh pitted cherries, then put the whole creation in the freezer for 4-6 hours.

8. Eat all left over ingredients with a spoon… or fingers..

9. When it’s ready, remove from the freezer, slice, and serve!

I’d love to hear from you, too. What creamy, sugary, weight-loss-dream-destroying dessert are you craving? Maybe I can blog up a healthy calorie, super-satisfying alternative! Share in the comments.
