About Donna Wild

Donna Wild, Founder When Donna was 12 years old, she had a dream to be a dancer and have a house on a property with some happy cows. However, this was the year that doctors diagnosed her with juvenile arthritis and began medicating her for the pain. At 17 years of age, she visited specialists who diagnosed her with chronic rheumatoid arthritis in her entire body and said she would be crippled by the time she was just 22. By then, she had spent her life training to be a professional dancer, however, had become 13 kilograms overweight and directionless. Donna believes that animal cruelty is wrong and personally suffers when she sees the way humans treat animals, she has worked tirelessly for a decade to empower people and families to eat in alignment with their belief- cruelty-free. Today, Donna is a Mum of a four-year-old, a Nutritionist, a popular plant-based health and lifestyle author and an Australian Latin Dance Champion. She is completely free of arthritis, pain, and medication. With her experience transitioning from a meat-eating to vegetarian, to vegan, to purely plant-based diet, and with the tens of thousands of hours she’s put into learning about nutrition and human bodies, Donna has gone just as deep into the ethics behind what we eat which is how she came to found this charity. Til The Cows Come Home is a charity that aims to be the World Vision for livestock animals, on a mission to rescue animals that are too sick or injured to make it to slaughter and re-home them to a sanctuary to live a full and happy life, just as Donna imaged as a child.

Are Zoo’s Positive Education for Children?

By |June 22nd, 2018|

Hey Wild One,

No more euphemisms… zoos are animal prisons. People say, “But zoos save endangered animals,” but in reality 99 per cent of all animals at the zoo are not endangered. If zoos were only saving endangered animals, that would be great. Zoos are a business—usually the top tourist attraction in the state—and no matter […]

How Can I Lose Weight? Exercise May Not be the (Most Important) Answer!

By |June 20th, 2018|

Hey Hotties!
Today I’d like to “weigh in” on a really hot topic: diet versus exercise.
If we’re trying to lose weight, which is more important?
From age thirteen to twenty-eight, I was trying and failing to get slimmer. I restricted calories, exercised for hours and hours each day—and I was still heavy. I thought I was just […]

The Natural Solution to Morbid Obesity (Yes, it Exists!)

By |April 20th, 2018|

Hey Savvy Hotties!
Remember that Dr. Kempner we were talking about?
Yep, the one who discovered the amazing medical power of plant-based diets high in fruit and rice.
Well, that “rice diet” was intended to treat kidney disease, so Dr. Kempner modified it to see if it couldn’t be a weight loss solution too.
(Hint: it can!)
He […]

By |June 13th, 2018|

The week i went vegetarian (at 11 years old) was the week i began heavily supplementing.

I would take up to 13 supplements throughout the day to “really make sure i was getting what I needed.” Because, you know, I’d decided to be vegetarian, and if you were vegetarian you couldn’t get enough […]

Is Salt Healthy?

By |March 7th, 2018|

Hey Healthy, Sexy, Vegans and Vegans to be! 😉
Okay, we’ve talked about salt before.
We know that in excess it’s no good for us—especially our waistline and our blood pressure—and we know that even natural sources like Himalayan are dangerous in large quantity. That’s why when my recipes do include (Celtic) salt (the optimum option), […]

How I Healed my Rheumatoid Arthritis.
